I directed this production of Friend Art by Sofia Alvarez at Lone Tree Golf Club in Chandler, AZ. Staging a play in the bar on a golf course presented unique challenges but created an immersive and thrilling atmosphere, which elevated the audience experience of this seething play about growing up, sexual tension between friends, and bad performance art.
